TRANSBIO SUDOE is a European transnational cooperation project co-financed by the INTERREG IV B SUDOE program (www.interreg-sudoe.eu) and dedicated to "The promotion of innovation and the setting up of long lasting cooperative networks in the technology field" (SUDOE's priority 1).

The TRANSBIO SUDOE project seeks to become a Transnational Biocluster of the European South-West area in life sciences.

The project objectives are :

  1. To promote transnational interdisciplinary research, innovation and technological transfer in life sciences to build an innovative ecosystem in biotechnology and health
  2. To develop a long lasting cooperative network by setting up thematic clusters of excellence, facilitating public-private partnerships and expanding the shared use of high level technology platforms
  3. To foster the companies development and boost the launch of start-up and spin-off companies by providing the best environment in favor of their growth (creation of tools, services, access to business incubators, ...)

 

Two events will be held in Palma de Mallorca, 18-20 November 2014

  • Workshop on "Advances in Biotechnology: Societal and Ethical concerns" - Tuesday, 18th
  • Training on "Exploration and analysis of the best practices and methods in transfer of technologies - Wednesday, 19th and Thursday, 20th
