Instructions for presenters:

Oral presentations.

The duration of regular oral presentations is 10 minutes including 3 minutes for discussion. Please make sure this time is strictly respected. As a rule of thumb, the length of the presentation should be 1 slide per minute. Only presentations in .ppt, .pptx or .pdf will be accepted. Please use MS Office or OpenOffice for creating your presentations. Unfortunately, Apple Keynote format will not be accepted. If creating a presentation in Apple .ppt please test it on a Windows PC to ensure that the display is correct. Avoid external links in your presentation as the presentation computers do not have an internet connection. All pictures and graphs must be embedded without links. Video films should be checked when uploading the presentation. Oral presentations should be uploaded on the Conference Management System before the conference starts. At the latest, presentations should be uploaded at the conference desk a day before the presentation. Please meet the session chair or co-chair at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of your session. If uploading the presentation at the conference desk, please make sure the memory stick is virus-free.

    

Poster presentation.

The duration of poster presentations is 2 minutes. Please make sure this time limit is strictly respected. Questions and discussion will be left for the end of the session and the coffee breaks. Authors will be asked to be available close to their posters during the coffee break immediately following their presentation. Only presentations in .ppt, .pptx or .pdf will be accepted. Please use MS Office or OpenOffice for creating your presentations. Unfortunately, Apple Keynote format will not be accepted. If creating a presentation in Apple .ppt please test it on a Windows PC to ensure that the display is correct. Poster layout and mounting.

Participants are free to design and layout the posters as they wish. The only requirements refer to the maximum size of the poster: DIN A0 (max width 841 mm/ 33.1 inches and max height 1189 mm and 46.8 inches) and a minimum size: DIN A1 (min width 594 mm/ 23.4 inches and max height 841 mm and 33.1 inches). The font size should be readable from a distance of 1 m. The EuroSun logo can be found in the Download area. It is not possible to print the posters at the conference site. Posters should be mounted at the start of the conference and removed at the end of the conference. Push-pins for poster mounting will be provided. Once the conference programme is announced, each poster will be assigned a space in the corresponding poster areas. The poster locations will be marked by a sign containing the corresponding author's name, poster title and number. There is an optional service for poster printing poster and delivery at the hotel on October 11th. This service is provided by Impresrapit (www.impresrapit.com ); the  contact person is Mr. Chema Milián (jmmilian@impresrapit.com ) phone +34 971 915 191. The  price for 120 gr/m2  normal paper A0 poster is about 30 €. Printing must be paid prior to printing the poster to Impresrapit.
