The Fourth Iberian Conference on Perception, CIP-Mallorca 2011, will take place from the 6th to the 8th of July 2011 in Palma, on the Mediterranean Island of Mallorca. The local organization of the event is taken care of by the research group Human Evolution and Cognition (associate group of the IFISC) of the University of the Balearic Islands.
This meeting will bring together mainly Spanish and Portuguese specialists and researchers – although also fruitful participation of researchers from other countries is expected. The program of the conference is focused on human perception, both from more basic research approaches, as well as from applied sciences contributions, like in its earlier editions:
■ CIP-Barcelona 2005
■ CIP-Madrid 2007
■ CIP-Guimarães 2009
The CIP-Mallorca 2011 pretends to be a meeting-point for discussion on topics related to human perception and for the presentation of new findings. The academic sessions will include invited talks, symposia, oral presentations and poster sessions.
The organization of the symposia will be operated by the members of the Organizational and Scientific Committee. However, all researchers who might be interested in participating in the conference with their work are encouraged to send their contributions to the Committee which will evaluate its convenience as an oral presentation or as a poster.
The abstracts of the plenary sessions and the oral presentations will be published in the Spanish Journal of Psychology.
